Reflections on Quarantine
March, 2020; the global pandemic hit the East Coast. I was halfway through the spring semester of my Junior year at Ithaca College when the entire Northeast began to shut down. Back in my childhood bedroom in rural Vermont, an already secluded environment became even further removed
from those outside my family. Grappling with the new reality, I fell into a depression. I became conscious of being a temporarily permanent resident in a house no longer quite my home. This series was done entirely within the walls of my home as I reflected on quarantining there.
